The ghost

One day some technicians came to school to repair something on the ceiling of our classroom. After they left, there was a big, black hole on the ceiling. Since that day, strange things have been happening in our classroom!

The next morning our desks were at different places and the map had disappeared! Because of that we couldn’t do the Geography lesson properly.

More destruction continued happening during the whole week! The desks were mixed up, the whiteboard had fallen off the wall, the teacher’s chair was missing, books were torn to pieces and the bookcase was damaged. Although we put things back to place every day, the next morning everything was mixed up again! All the students were scared! Because of this, many students preferred staying at home rather than coming to school.

When we came back to school after the weekend, the only thing we found in place was the ceiling!!! During the English lesson, while Panayiotis and Pavlos were watching the scary hole on the ceiling, they thought that somebody must be hiding there and had decided to destroy everything! So our teacher asked us if we wanted to find out what was really happening and we all said “yes”! She chose four students: Panayiotis, Pavlos, Katherine and me in order to get into the hole and find out if anyone was up there.

We were afraid because we heard someone screaming but we didn’t stop our investigation. A minute later, we saw a … ghost!!! It was naughty but sweet! It wasn’t scary at all!

After a conversation with our teacher, the ghost apologised and promised to change its behavior. It repaired all the stuff it had damaged. Since that day it has become our teacher’s assistant and a good friend for all of us!
